Missing Blog???????

I just know I posted another blog because my only friend, Carol Mitchell, commented on it and now it's gone!! The blog monster ate it. It was all about commercial artists in the days when I first started working in the field. Back then, we had to know how to illustrate, speck type and use tech pens with india ink. French curves, triangles, oval templates and rulers were our best friends. Rubber cement was used to assemble all layouts going to print, consequently, sniffing rubber cement for eight hours a day was a requirement!! No wonder we commercial artists were seen as slightly crazy. Now we have Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and stock art to do it all for us. It's so easy now. So glad I've had the opportunity to experience all this new stuff.
